A test of the CodeRED emergency notification system will be conducted Wednesday, March 5, when a text, phone call or e-mail will be sent to every resident who is enrolled. The testing should begin around 9AM and be completed by noon. Everyone who is registered with CodeRED and who lives in Jefferson and Broomfield counties, and parts of Adams and Clear Creek Counties, will be contacted.
CodeRED replaced the 911.net system and is used by emergency service providers to keep residents informed of incidents or crises.
